A RCOON A Deloraine's much loved family doctor, Frank Cole lived in this wonderful home from 1892 until his death in 1932. In designing his building, he took advantage of the commanding views of the Meander River & Western Tiers mountain range. |

Arcoona is now an elegant country guest house & gourmet retreat for all to enjoy as it sits graciously overlooking the gentle town of Deloraine, Tasmania. Stained glass windows welcome you as you enter the home and surprise you as you wander its halls. The drawing room and foyer feature original Victorian stencilling & friezes while the plentiful open fireplaces are surrounded by carved Blackwood mantles. The billiard room boasts its original full size Alcock table and is a great room for the family to relax in after. Arcoona is a prestigious and award winning guest house for hosted accommodation. We won Tasmanian State awards in 1997 and State and National awards in 1999. We continue to meet and exceed those high standards that earned those awards. |
