The house has a porte cochere to a foyer, formal dining room and a
huge living area all linked by glass doors with the kitchen opening to
the living area and has a featured island bench with granite top. The
kitchen has every modern convenience and all services are duplicated in
gas and electricity.
The kitchen, living area and
dining room overlook one of the lakes and beyond the lake is a copse of
eucalypts with daffodils planted in the foreground. Beyond
that is part of the Cobaw state forest.
Upstairs there is a large
bedroom, a bathrooms 2 dressing rooms and a study. The bedroom
and study have a view of landscaped gardens, lawns and forest, the study looks out to Mount Macedon and a corner of Hanging
Rock.

circulating in the floor slab. In addition there are large "Jetmaster"
open fire places in the family and drawing rooms. The first floor is heated by a
hydronic system run from the slow combustion/electric water storage in the pantry.
9, An 18M x 6M garage and workshop is located about 60m from the house.

The Grounds.
All garden beds and lawns in the vicinity of the house are watered by an
automatic irrigation system. Water is supplied from the main dam by
automatic electric pump. A Petrol Pump is installed as an emergency
standby.
The paddocks are fenced with 2m high wire mesh augmented with electric
outriggers in selected areas. These paddocks have been used to run up to
170 large deer but are suitable for a variety of livestock. Dividing
fences are lines with trees of various types. There is a central laneway
connecting the paddocks with each other and a 12m x 9m steel shed. Each
paddock has a water trough and fence line trees are drip irrigated.
North of the main dam is another steel shed of 18m x 6m. 12 m of which
is fully enclosed with a concrete floor. Adjacent to this shed is a
92,000 litre rain water storage tank. |
